Energy and Technological Development
Our goal is to improve and expand energy access, efficiency and sustainability, including renewables, energy storage and energy efficiency.
01
Green generation
Our work focuses on researching, designing and promoting sustainable and environmentally friendly energy sources such as:
Hybrid energy communities
These are decentralised, collaborative energy systems that integrate multiple energy sources – such as solar, wind, and hydro – and energy storage, to meet the energy needs of a specific community. They optimise the use of renewable energies and store excess energy for when needed.
PANELES FOTOVOLTAICOS
Water energy
A system that captures energy loss and transforms it into a useful resource, generating electricity from the water supply network itself through reducing valves. Offers other important benefits in terms of cost saving, better real-time data capture, reduced carbon emissions and water conservation.
AWES (Airborne Wind Energy System)
Technologies that harness wind energy using airborne devices, such as kites, drones or floating wind turbines, to generate electricity. This approach seeks to more efficiently harness wind potential and overcome the constraints of location and physical space associated with traditional wind farms.
02
Wind propulsion
A boat propulsion method that uses wind energy as the main source of thrust. Instead of depending solely on internal combustion engines or electric motors, wind-powered vessels incorporate sails or other similar devices that capture wind energy and convert it into motion. This can include traditional sails, such as those used in sailboats, as well as more modern technologies like rotors or solid wind sails. Their use significantly reduces fossil fuel consumption and greenhouse gas emissions.
03
Decarbonisation of the maritime sector
Reduction of greenhouse gas emissions from shipping- and fisheries-related activities. This entails adopting cleaner, more sustainable technologies and practices, such as the electrification of ships, the use of biofuels, the use of renewable energy and the improvement of energy efficiency in shipping.

Oxidrogeneras Head Up
At HEAD UP SERVICES, in collaboration with our partner COMPAÑÍA ESPAÑOLA DE HIDRÓGENO 2.0, we have developed the first advanced Greenhouse Gas (GHG) reduction system specifically designed for the maritime sector, including applications in fishing, pleasure yachts, transport and cruises.
04
Energy storage
Use of the Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) which uses batteries to store electricity generated from renewable sources or during periods of low energy demand. These systems allow the energy produced during times of high availability to be stored for later use when demand is high or when generation conditions are less favourable.
